1st November 2025
We distributed 51 food packets, continuing our streak of consistent outreach through October and November. Each packet carried not just food but a message of compassion — from all of us, to them.
This week’s distribution was yet another reminder of why we started MOT SHIVA — to bring hope, warmth, and nourishment to those who need it most.

New Year
“Lighting a lamp in someone’s heart is greater than lighting a thousand lamps in a temple.”
On the sacred occasion of the Hindu New Year, we had the privilege of organizing a special lunch for the residents of Jan Sadhana Senior Living Trust. Many of the elderly here do not have families to celebrate with, and we believed that no festival should pass without love, warmth, and the feeling of belonging.
This meal was not just food—it was a gesture of gratitude, respect, and togetherness. Sharing this moment with them reminded us that true celebration lies in spreading light where there is loneliness, and offering love where it is needed the most.
“Our elders are not forgotten—they are respected, cherished, and celebrated.”
Why This Initiative Matters
Festivals are meant to bring people together, and no one deserves to be left behind.
Serving our elders is not charity—it is our cultural duty and a blessing.
This initiative was a small offering of love to those who once nurtured families, society, and values.
A Gift of Love for Diwali & New Beginnings
As we begin this new year, our intention is clear—to continue spreading light through kindness. This lunch was a symbol of hope and a promise that they are not alone; they are loved and remembered.
May this New Year bring peace to their hearts and strengthen our collective spirit of compassion.

Today, with deep gratitude and renewed purpose, we successfully distributed 51 freshly prepared food packets to children and families in need. Our goal goes beyond feeding the body—we aim to nourish hearts with kindness and hope.
The smiles on the children’s faces and the sense of relief among families remind us why this mission is so important.

11th October 2025
Another Saturday, another smile. On October 11th, we continued our small mission of sharing food and joy — 51 food packets distributed once again, just like the week before. Sometimes numbers repeat, but happiness multiplies.
Pure joy needs no translation — just love, laughter, and a warm meal

A steady rhythm of service — 51 food packets distributed on both the 4th and 11th of October. The count stays constant, but the reach and warmth grow each time.
4th October 2025
Today, we distributed 51 food packets to children who face daily struggles— poverty, caste-based challenges, and limited access to opportunities. Yet, in their eyes, we saw dreams brighter than any hardship.
The moment they received the food, their smiles spoke louder than words— pure joy, innocent gratitude, and unbroken hope. It remined that small acts of kindness can touch lives far beyond what we imagine.
Through these efforts, our mission is simple: to stand beside them, even when the world seems unjust.

Festivals are meant to be celebrated with loved ones, but for many residents in old age homes, that isn’t always the reality. In an effort to bring warmth and connection, we became their family, offering not just food but a moment of joy and togetherness during the holidays.
Imagine a world where simple tasks become monumental struggles. Living with a disability can bring daily challenges that many of us take for granted. By offering our support, we tried to remove their obstacles and empowered them to live a life of dignity and independence.
This man’s dedication to his work at the construction site, despite his hearing impairment, was a testament to his determination. After a consultation with doctors and hearing tests, we were fortunate to step in and donate the hearing aid, helping him to hear more clearly.
